Beijing for the Healthy Cities, Resilient Cities Conference
In Beijing this past week! While in town, I attended the Healthy Cities, Resilient Cities conference organized by the Pacific Cities Sustainability Initiative and facilitated one of the roundtable discussions. We also met with the 15 students from Tsinghua University's Department of Construction Management who will be participating in a joint workshop with our Stanford students in the Fall and gave a guest lecture focusing on the Four Pillars of Sustainability. I have to appreciate their thoughtful participation in spite of our seminar taking place on a Friday evening from 7-9PM. I also had a chance to check out the Olympic Park for the first time.
